Improve WInAMP sound quality without "plugins"

I found whilst snooping the latest version of Winamp (upgraded recently) that some questionable features are enabled by default.

So I changed them to standard settings and disabled the limiter and after a reload found music had a bit more depth, more clearer.

Background ambience such as Vocals etc are much more audible now.
Give it a shot!

You probably won't hear much diff on all tracks, only certain types of music styles through each genre - I found the most difference where there are background vocals and softer instruments

Because I have no need for it. Xonar D2X has built in normaliser (if needed, whihc it's not) so all software processing set to off or standard if no off available - let the amp do the rest and the soundcard.
