Hi everyone

New to forums, i'm looking at replacing my current GPU to play modern games at near top spec at 1980x1280, I use my 42 inch tv as a monitor.

My current set up is:

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition 3.2GHz OC to 4.2
Asus AM3 M4A88T-V EVO/USB3
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3
Seagate ST3500418AS 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache
After market CPU cooler - Scythe Shuriken Quiet Low Profile
Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor X
Rasurbo 550w EAP Eco
Windows 7 64 bit

My 5770 is ok, I have OC a a little using MSI after burner but still can't get amazing perforamce. Looking to spend about 150 - 200 pounds, after reading the gpu warranty thread on OC want to try Gigabyte, likes the looks of:

Other issue with going Nvidea is my board supports Crossfire but not SLI, is crossfire all its cracked up to be but also I don't really want to spend anymore money on my system for about 2 - 3 years.

I really want to play COP and Shogun TW 2 at top spec and just want a card that will allow me to play games at good specs on my TV for the next few years.

Any other ideas would be much appriaciated.

I wouldnt worry too much about SLi/xfire, as imo, by the time you need more power than any new card you buy now provides, itll be best to sell the card and buy a new one again, single card solutions are best way forward imo (and I was until very recently running xfire myself) If you want Gigabyte then thats your only choice really, though other choices for other manufacturers would be the Asus 480 which is faster but quite a bit louder and hotter, or on the AMd/ATi front a 6950, these can be flashed to 6970s, see the thread at the top of the page, which would make them much faster than a 560, but the 560 you linked to is a great card and would be considerably better than your current 5770
