Improving A17 Cooling

Just got an A17 and think it's great. Compared to my 900 temps have increased around 10 degrees, probably due to the less balanced airflow in the A17.

Firstly does anyone know if this will fit in an A17. I think I remember someone saying it would way back but I thought I'd check.

My AC7 is also having to work too hard and I think the fan is on the way out. Anyhow I'm looking to invest in a new CPU cooler. I'm not bothered to much with cost. I will spend the money to get the cooling power (and preferably quietness as I leave my PC on over night).

Presently according to everest I idle at about 42 degrees and full load after about 10 hours had a peak of around 63 degrees (Q6600 OCed to 3ghz). Real temp is around 5 degrees lower than everest results.

I like the look of:

But any advice on what can improve over an AC7 and fit in an a17 would be great :)

Have had a think and am thinking of getting an Asus Silent Square as it should easily fit in the A17 and the reviews seem to be reasobably good. It's not as good as other heatsinks but it's not as big.

There are three types of silent square. Is there any difference between them?

One thing to do is turn the top 140mm fan so its blowing INWARDS.

This apparently shaves of 5'C or so. I've yet to do it myself as i have not opened the box on mine yet. ^_^

I've got the orange silent square and its awesome, Temps on my rig were basically the same as the TT but I prefer the look of the asus coolers :)
