I already have 2 front, 2 mid (behind hdd's) and 1 rear sharkoon SE 2000 running at about 7v for silence and a triple rad in the top of my case with 6 x lian li fans on it.

I had been running it with the side off but since I but the sides back on the temps have risen, this must be poor air flow. What could I do to improve it?

Would adding a side exhaust fan help at all? I have lost 1 rear top exhaust due to my rad being in the way.

My cables are pretty tidy as they are.

Is radiator handling both CPU and GPU or just CPU?

If problem is memory/motherboard temperatures you could hang fan to graphic card support pillar similar to this:

Also other components of graphic card beside GPU chip leave notable amount of heat to hang around inside case if GPU is watercooled. BS-03 cooling kit could help to that:

And if problem is temperatures of parts cooled by radiator and you have empty 5.25" bays you could make tube from cardboard for enabling radiator to get fresh outside air from front.

Also for higher airflow forget golf balls and get Scythe SlipStreams, they have better airflow vs RPM ratio than normal blade geometry fans... which isn't that miraculous already because motor hub is blocking less of fan's hole.

(blade geometry/size of Papst should be very near Sharkoon)

Its just the cpu in the loop with a triple rad and 18w Laing pump.

I think I might change 2 of my intake fans to 140mm ones and add that BS-03 to take heat away from the graphics and see how it is then.

Intake fan positions are for 12cm fan so installing 14cm fan does't help any especially because larger motor hub would block bigger part of hole. (which might actually lower airflow)

But you can cut away most of those horizontal bars in holder of inside fans and also remove those plastic full length expansion card supports if you haven't done that yet.

I'm sure there is mounting for 140mm fans behind the hdd's. I already reomoved those plastic bits as they seemed pretty pointless.

I need to take a fan off my fan control and use it to control my water pump, I'm hoping reducing the pumps voltage will lower noise levels as it makes a bit of a hum at the moment.

Think I will order the BS-03 today as I didnt get time last night.

Do you have pump touching case?
Could be vibration induced noise in which case putting something soft under pump could help lot.

Just cut away most of those horizontal metal "bars" of that fan holder, leaving only those two which are above and below area of card supports/in ends of where frame is wider leaves still most of the strength.

The pump is mounted on a metal frame we made and it has bits of silicone pipe on the bolts to reduce vibration.

I have ordered 2 140mm silent fans for behind the hdd's and another sharkoon so I will replace 3 of the lian li fans on my rad with sharkoons. I have a BS-06 on the way with a 900rpm fan, then I will connect the pump to my fan control and see what its like with a bit less voltage and see how my temps are after this.

Well I did what I said I was going to apart from swapping 3 of the lian li fans for sharkoons.

I'm quite happy, dropping a couple of volts on the pump has reduced the noise so now its hardly noticeable, also seems to have dropped a couple of degrees.

I'm happy enough, cool and silent :)

Hi, I would like to help you, however you've not posted up what the temps are and with what they are causing a 'issue'.

It wasn't really bad, just worse with the case on.

Idle CPU was 30 C and now its 38 C, it was 40 C before my change round today.

Hi, I've got mine set to suck cool air in, my way of thinking is that an enclosed box will run warner, thus I want cool air going through my fans. Also three fans pulling out may well create too much negative pressure inside the case, however that debate is for the guys in the cooling section. Still no harm in trying it the other way around to see what you get...
