I'm not too sure where this belongs, hope this is the right place.

I recently went to the British Motorshow, and some of the pictures due to the lighting came out dark.

What's the best method to brighten them up? In PS I can obviously use different methods to do this, but none of the results come out very well. Which way is best to get them looking good?

This is an example, most of the others are similar, some better, some worse.

Appreciate any tips, thanks :)

This is the best I could do with it in photoshop

That is curves, brightness and contrast, noise reduction and unsharpmask but it is still very noisy :(

What camera was this taken with? if its a compact does it have an A/S/M option? if so use the A mode and select the smallest aperature number it will give you. It should auto select the correct shutter speed. You can also increase the ISO but that will result in a grainer image.
