I have ordered a Titan Goliath with some upgrades
Specs:
Case: Antec 902
Graphics Card: ATI 5870
Hard Drive: 500 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM Options
Memory: Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel
Motherboard Gigabyte EX58-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Optical Drive: LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter
Power Supply: Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLI Compliant PSU
Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz D0 Overclocked to 3.40GHz!
Processor Cooler: Akasa AK-967 Nero Direct Contact Heatpipe CPU Cooler
Windows 7 64bit
I have waited a while before upgrading on this occasion because my 8800GTX and C2D Conroe system was superb for everything I wanted. It lasted me a while but now having decided to upgrade, I wondering whether spending a little more now would make more sense.
We are all waiting for the 5870's to come into stock, so I should be able to make a few changes.... the changes that I am really thinking of making are to the HDD, upgrading to a raptor and maybe adding another graphics card..
What are your thoughts...
