Improving this pic?

Hey guys,

I'm really rubbish at post processing, I look at a photo and somehow feel content with it. Yet someone will touch it up and suddendly it's loads better.

What would you guys do with this pic?

How do you guys know what to do, I really need some tutorials in bringing out colour and the like.
