I bought a DK2, and not I'm not sure what do with it as I've only recently got back into gaming.

My setup is OK (i7-3720QM, 16GiB RAM, GeForce GTX970, 250GiB SSD), I have an Xbox360 wireless controller that I've been using to play Carmageddon.

I'd been wanting to try Project CARS for a while, and as it's on sale on Steam atm - thought I'd give that a go. Had a bit of a practice on the monitors and then tried it in VR mode.. but Steam just told me my headset wasn't support. So I sulked and now I'm here.

What's the deal with the Leap Motion controllers, from a quick look they seem like they'd help the VR experience and seem quite cheap.

Yeah leap motion perfected would be all kinds of awesome - unfortunately implementation in actual games is rare and not without its problems.

Project cars should work fine with the dk2.

Have you tried all the free stuff on the occulus home page?

Good place to start. So far everything has worked on my DK2.

DCS world, free download for the core module to give you a taste of flight simming in it, also war thunder can be played with it and is free, however you'll probably have to grindunlock the stuff you actually want to fly.

Assetto corsa also gets my vote, subnautica and a few others. Just browse the VR section in steam, find something you might fancy then check it is DK2 compatible

Thanks everyone, will check out all these suggestions

Is there any that the leap motion works well with?

Sell it and by a Vive. :p

Sorry, couldn't resist. :o

Cheeky! The Vive would be more than twice what I paid for the DK2 - bit too much for an impulse buy :p
