I'll have some of this, cheers for the link timko :)

I don't think I've ever spent so much on games as I have in the last few months. All these deals are crippling my bank account!

Ordered, can't risk the deal ending so my credit card took the blow. I probably spent more time playing this game than all the civs combined.

Wow any idea how long it'll be on for?

It's only on for 24hrs apparently. Being an american company (Stardock/Impulse that is) that means at the earliest it means the deal will finish UK time Sat 2am to 4am ish. Be sure to grab it before 11:59pm tonight to be on the safe side! :)

Think the offer is only 24 hours, so maybe about 17 hours left. Pretty cool, since I got Gal Civ 1 in a similar deal for 60p :)

They say they don't accept Paypal because they can't setup the promotion codes with it...it might also be because Paypal charges fees and so Impulse'd probably only make pennies from these offers. When World of Good did its pay what you want offer, 2dboy's takings from small payments was fractional.

I remember playing the first one a few years ago, for this price it would be rude of me not to try this one :p
Great find!

don;t forget to get the twilight of arnor expansion at some point, even bigger glaxies.

And you can blow up suns :D

For those who don't know what it's about, it's pretty much the best 4X space sim out there. I can't think of anything from the last few years that matches up, apart from Sins - but that's quite different, and I don't enjoy it as much. Think Civ in space, and you've pretty much summed it up - there's a lot more to it, but you'll find that out when you BUY IT NOW.

I baught the complete pack a while ago (Dread Lords+Dark Avatar+Twilight of Arnor). Been having trouble getting into it and its now sat on my drive taking up space. :(

Remember that you can get the full set of GC games very cheap (under 10 pounds) if you look around, so given the two expansions cost more than 9 quid, I'm not sure this will actually work out better.....

Of course it IS a good way of checking if you like the game if the demo wasn't enough for you......
