Balanced individuals of GD, help me make a decision. I'm grumpy after nightshifts and feel incapable of making the right call.

I bought my son a lego figure off ebay described as in excellent condition. It arrived in less than ideal condition, sloppy joints, the hands so worn they couldn't hold a plastic lightsabre up straight. I entered into dispute and the seller agreed on the 22nd of may for a partial refund so I could buy new Hands and arms.

Fair enough.

Then no contact or refund, so I escalated the case and got a full refund from ebay. Then I receive this message from the seller....


Hi there please consider changing my neg feedback - I have had 100% record for years and just now have started ebaying stuff for my child. We have had so much stress (family bereavements) and I accept having said I wld do a 50% refund I didn't know how and then we went away, then had a tummy bug...I shd have just done a 100% refund - it is only £7 and now buyers won't trust me. I see you have 100% (including my feedback re you)so I know you know it is important. We will send another SW figure

Change the feedback or not? I'm tired, had a row with the Mrs already today and still have cars to clean and grass to cut. I am grumpy and want to tell them to get lost, but the family breavement is tugging on my heart strings

Yet the grumpy part of me thinks they are just trying it on. My wifes useless in these instances, she would see the good in people if they had sent a dump in a bag.

I think you should just cut the grass today.

Wash the cars on the weekend.

That is exactly what I have decided to do, grass is done cba to clean the cars now

I hadn't considered I have a full refund and have the figure. To be honest new hands and arms will cost me £3 or £4 anyway. I did give them time to resolve. 2 weeks approx from last communication. With hours of leaving the neg feedback I got the message I posted.

I'm not interested in them sending me another figure, I don't think they are offering one of the same just another figure.

I will sleep on it and probably change it to neutral, although "bereavements" suggesting more than one, grumpy cynic that I am thinks they are trying it on
