In a sad state :-/

That is really bad, my 13 year old is in better nick :p I'd only get the paintwork done up if it costs 1/3 of the value of the car. Otherwise just run it to the ground.

Is it that bad across the whole car or just one side or certain parts?
 
^ Car must be worth around £3k or thereabouts, I would guess couple of hundred quid to fix it up if its only in a few spots, worth it IMO.
 
Silly mileage 04 plater Diesels go for 1500 ish at auctions around here. A reasonable motor with 130-140k is worth 2.5k min, so its definately worth spending on imho.
