In an rpg what class type do you prefer?

I tend to lean towards the more sneaky character, usually a thief/caster. I hate Elves (snobby gits) and tend to make a crouchy 'Hoggle' from Labyrinth type Gnome.

Hopefully NWN2 will allow a class that can spread disease and other foulness. *cast face rot level1!*

I always stay away from anything resembleing a INT based dress dweller. Usally go Ranger/Rogue type chr with a few minor spells.

Warriors, i like armour and big swords that look cool

What he said :) Could tank pretty well in EQ2 getting aggro back when a mage attacked the wrong char (think area affect).

I have to be able to wield the biggest sword in the game (it so depressing going to the shops otherwise!) but hate giving up my magical abilites, so I normally play as a Paladin. Never really got on with ranged attack (rouge) type characters, dont really know why, they just seem abit boring!

I always have to play as a human character though, it just feels to weird being a different race!

I'm usually a rogue. Have played thief / rogue types since my MUD days. I used to code for the Discworld MUD at one point :)

Really? How long ago? LPmud is an excellent system to code for don't you agree? :D

I was one of the fairly high level rogues on DW :D

I'm all about the specialist warriors - some sort of finesse involved. Whether this be a rogue backstabber type, a Samurai or even some kind of Warrior-mage, it's all good. Needs to be stylish, is all.
