I’m heading to Bruges for a long weekend with the wife in a few weeks.

Anyone been and have recommendations for things to see/do.

So far we are thinking of doing the De Halve Maan Brewery Tour, and a canal boat tour.

Cheers.

Went there for a day trip back in January.

The center of town has the river/canal with the square which is the tourist area. There is a clock tower there which you can pay to get up. BE CAREFUL if you are there on the hour or even at any of the quarter/half on the hour because your head is about 2feet away from a bell the size of a mini. It gave me quite a shock! There is literally nowhere to run and only 1 narrow stair case down.

That's the one from the film I assume? It's basically the only reason I've ever wanted to go to Bruges.

I never seen the movie but probably!

You can buy the ticket on the day but not immediate access, I went up and got it for like 2hrs after. It’s think it’s their way to control the amount of people going up.
