Well it appears that a bios update took place towards the end of last week!

I used Live Update to install via Windows (while crossing all digits) and everything went fine.

Heck, I might even be daring and risk the new Core Center utility...

Joking aside, the Dual Core Center is a very unstable utility! The readings it gives me on my setup are meaningless at times eg. FSB of over 1700 on a non-overclocked cpu; cpu speed of 10000+ Mhz!

Consequently, its been banished from my system again and I await the next revision...
