In-game recording software needed

Hello there!
Thanks for popping by and hearing what I have to say.
I'm pretty new to the whole taking in game videos, and planning to do some lp's of my favorite games.
I would like to know what you guys would suggest I should use, preferably i'd want it to be free too.

Fraps. Files can be quite large for longer videos so make sure you have plenty of storage.
