So I've bought a logitech G432 headset. I've been using it with the usb dongle connection to take advantage of the 7.1 surround. I've set it up on the logitech g-hub and set this to "surround sound" in the g-hub options.
Does setting "surround sound" in the logitech g-hub override sound output settings in the in game sound settings? If I'm playing battlefield 5 there are some sound options like, stereo, surround, 3d headphones and war tapes. I did try different options including the "auto" option which is suppose to recognise your sound device, but I couldn't really hear any difference. I was using the anti air gun on the ground and I couldn't pin point which way the planes were coming towards me from behind the mountains. I was hoping these headphones would give me a better sense of where planes were coming from.
Many thanks.
