and I'm looking for reccomendations on places to go have a drink etc,
not been out by myself in YEARS and being stranded on my own in london is kinda overwelming,
so come on guys and girls, I've got me a zone 1&2 tube card, and I'm not afraid to use it!
In piccadilly Circus atm, (staying at the backpackers hostel, nice place!) so the closer the better!
 
last time I was in camdem I kinda woke up in a place I'd rather not have,

anywhere else?

(I'm guessing all the londoner OcUKers have run away)
 
i dont know london v well, but covent garden is a nice place? Try and hook up with some dumb american girls at the hostel and then go out drinking with them!!

Camden...

Can't think of anywhere in West End :( I thought the Maple Leaf in Cov Gdn was good, but doubt they have a band.

Places in Angel and Kings Cross may have bands but not in the centre really.

Give walkabout a try though, go there, find women, ask them whats goin on. SCCOOOOOOORE!

erm, on a more serious note, how can you NOT know where to go, ** in central london... anyway go to the sports bar (or something) its near leicester square (or somewhere).. seriously.. especially as today is thursday....
 
Angel, Islington would be ideal

Canary Wharf... there use to be a decent bar around here, don't remember the name

If you want to mix yourself with drunk businessmen/women, Bank.
If you fancy getting a Zone 3 extension, Wimbledon could go on your list.
