Following on from the recent thread about the sad death of GSVJase, I know a number of you have expressed a wish to contribute to a memorial of some kind to Jase.

One of the first priorities will be to finish the landscaping of the garden. The Devon and Cornwall Bikers (DC Bikers) will provide much of the labour and help to do this. Jase had plans to build a "Summer House" and I'm not sure this will be done now, but Jase & Jo were keen to get a good quality garden seat/bench. I think it best we contribute towards this. It will be an expensive piece of Garden Furniture with a suitable plaque, but I understand a number of his friends, from Photography, Biking and Internet will be contributing.

I am working with Phil (Jase's brother) to arrange an OcUK collection and send the total to Phil in one amount.

At the funeral service Phil made a wonderful speech which drew together all of Jase's interests and experiences. To have one memorial that reflects his large number of friends would be quite fitting.

If you do wish to donate, PLEASE INCLUDE FULL NAME AND FORUM NAME. We want to compile a list of all those that helped achieve Jase's Garden dreams for his wife and children to look back on.

Kind Regards,

Lee.

Thanks for the emails so far guys, with the amount raised here and at other forums Jase frequented, we're starting to get a nice total that will see the garden completed for Jase's two daughters to spend time in and remember their dad.

Thanks again.

Lee.

It is, yes.

I'll get the updated total later, but from here and other forums Jase frequented, the total is around a thousand pounds currently.

Very impressive :)

Thanks to you guys that have donated.

I believe it's still work in progress.

A short while after Jase was in that fatal accident, his wife, Jo, found out that she was pregnant (You couldn't make it up) & she is a month or so shy of due date.
So I believe any work has been put on hold whilst this has been going on.
