Hey guys, so i have abit of an issue that means i need a new case for my pc.
I have just bought a gigabyte rx6800 xt and it does not fot my corsair 220t, because i have to mount my radiator on the front, as the ram stops me top mounting.
I am torn between the lian li lancool 2 mesh or the corsair 4000d, has anyone used any of these cases before?
Can i use my corsair sp fans on the lian case? And how dark actualy is the side panel on the black 4000d?

Thanks

Thanks guys, i think im in desperate need fot a case now :cry:
hitting temps of 80 to 90 degrees,
Has ypur gpu tenps dropped much with it being top mounted?

I have the h100i
Corsair 220t got 2 rows of Rad/fan holes on top if you had a 240mm Rad AIO you would mount it close to the tamp glass panel.
I take it you got a 280mm AIO?

If you got this then you only need to use the corsair hub that come with it for the case fans & the 2 for the Rad

or

I paid £100 for the corsair-hydro-series-icue-h100i-elite-capellix 240mm bottom link

By looks of your photo your using an older Corsair AIO ?
I have the h100i rgb platinum 240mm with the corsair vengeance rgb ram, the ram sticks are too tall to let me top mount.

AIO RAD Top mounted or Side would be same around temps of the CPU

Having the AIO RAD top celling of case be better that way can have 2 fans blow air in from front , One below the GPU
If you can somehow off-set the rad at the top to miss the memory sticks be great :)

Low profile memory / Or 15mm thickness fan could help

looking at that photo, If you got the AIO Corsair fans blowing inwards in the Rad at front making heat in the case will not help the GPU Temps.
So the fans pulling air on through the rad, is that not correct?

Best to have 2 fans on Rad mounted as Exhaust blowing warm air from the rad out of the case :)

if you got a 280mm corsair AIO then that will make mounting on the celling of the case harder to clear the memory , 240mm you should not have much trouble, had the 220t some time ago with 240mm mounted on top ,cleared the memory ok, that with the corsair RGB Pro memory.
I thought it was the 240mm i had but tried to mount on top last night again and realised its actually a 280mm. So im now looking at the lian 011 dynamic mini

I take it your older Corsair AIO did not come with its own ARGB/FAN hub , the new AIO now do ?
No unfortunately not, il just have to be carefull and remove the one off the case, next on my list in a mew cpu as i only have a ryzen 5 2600, then il probably look at a newer AIO as i like the new display screens.

Well got to say in pretty happy with this case, just need 3 or 4 more fans to finish it off, but need to find out if my motherboard fan headers can handle 3 way splitters

Yes i love this case so far, temps are far better than what i was getting in my 220t.
I went for that setup because a lot off google searches on fan setup for that case come back with aio on side and 3 up top as exuast, then the front 2 and bottom 2/3 as intakes. So if thats not correct then il move one of the top fans to the rear
