In need of a new cooler!

Hello ,
The current fan on my dell is quite big but the real problem is the noise it sounds like a vacuum , I'm looking for something cheap that will keep the noise down not using it for overclocking just something that keep that big thing nice a quite

.

Specs:

PSU : ~ 230V

Also the current fan on the computer is quite big but I assume its just a matter of unscrewing it and placing the new one in?

what is your dell model number? Dell seem to use non standard mobos and coolers so it may be more difficult to find a replacent than with more standard arrangements. That said, I believe a scythe mini ninja should fit and stay quiet, can anyone confirm this?

In theory the CPU socket and the thing around it is the same and should be easy :S

Sorry, is the fan huge or the heatsink or both?

If is just a fan noise issue you should measure the size of the current fan and replace it with the equivatent noctua fan.

Well its got a heatsink + fan at the duct outake could I not just take the thing out and use a normal fan?
