Hi!

So I've been steadily upgrading parts of my PC over the years but I've not yet upgraded the PSU and its starting to show with some power related crashes happening every so often. (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=28819212#post28819212)

PC Spec:
Mainboard : Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
Processor : AMD FX 8320 @ 3500 MHz (max : 10040)
Physical Memory : 16384 MB
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
PSU : XFX Pro 550W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Not too sure about budget yet but I was hoping for a decent PSU which would last a while through some more future upgrades. (Hoping for something under £100 though)

Many thanks! :)

Frankly, I'm not too sure! I was wondering what you guys recommended for my set up as it is. Do you think a bigger one would benefit me?

550-650w would be more than enough for that (550w is more than enough for most single gpu systems) if you are not adding a second gpu at some point. Take a look at these:-

The EVGA Supernova GS is gold rated, fully modular and built by Seasonic, has a hybrid fan mode where you can switch the fan to ECO mode and it only comes on at a certain load/temp. It has a 5 year warranty.
The EVGA Supernova G2 is gold rated, fully modular and built by Superflower and also has a hybrid fan mode. It has a 7 year warranty
The two Antec's are hard wired and built by Seasonic and have a 5 year warranty.

If you will be adding a second 970 in the future then it's worth getting a 750w unit now. Take a look at these:-
