In need of something to organise my life

As I'm starting to get too many deadlines and places to be at on set dates to keep in my head properly, I figured I could do with a program that'll sort it for me instead
Freeware preferably and also something that I can set alerts for so it'll remind me in advance for certain dates.

Any ideas for something particularly useful?

If you mean like a organiser etc, and you want a open source one, i use this:

Use 0.2 because 0.3a1 isnt that stable imo.

I've got one but much handier for me to have one on the PC.

I hate electronic organisers and software... I either always turn them off or just stop bothering to enter new appointments and tasks etc.

Good ole fashioned diary on the other hand is err.. handy lol.
