Ok so im having trouble with overclocking my E6320 here are current specs:

QDR=1500x7=10500/4=2625 Mhz
RAM=4.4.4.12 2T 900Mhz
Vcore=Stock
Temp under load=58=60c

whenever i try to overclock to 2.7Ghz i fail just a few minutes into Orthos test. Ive tried upping the volts but that doesnt work, temps are within limits and iver tried different RAM timings but nothing is working. Help!!!! :(

what ram are you using ?? have you tried changing the ram ratio divider soo that its less speed on the ram and then try the cpu overclock again. least that way you can rule out the ram

The ram is crucial ballistix but ive got it set to unlinked in the bios so the frequency isnt affected by the speed of the cpu.

The most probable answer would be your cpu or motherboard has reached its limit. If you are desperate to find out, you can try either swap one of them out or, down ratio the cpu to test their FSB limits.
