I honestly didn't like trance music that much until I heard Volume 5 of this. It is absolutely awesome from start to finish. My car loves it!

I bought Volume 5, but I haven't explored to others yet, any recommendations on which volume to buy next?

Cheers,

Tom

Listening to trance in the car is dangerous :o

Trance is ace. How anyone could not like it I don't know :p

Try Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance 2006, certainly as good as Sunrise 5, if not better.

Ordered.

It better be good or else :D

The thing about Sunrise is that it's all the same, or at least very similar, so if you like Tiesto's style of music then you're guaranteed to love the CD.

Yeah but life's too short anyway.

It's a bit like Drum 'N' Bass. I don't really like it, but Pendulum's album is just immense. I just bought a load of Drum 'N' Bass compilations and tbh I didn't really like them. Waste of money :(

Either ISOS2 or ISOS3. I personally love ISOS2 the most. A fantastic musical journey. :)

01- Tastexperience - Tantrix
02- LN Movement - Golden Desert Part 2
03- Kamaya Painters - Summerbreeze
04- Rui Da Silva - Touch Me
05- Salt Tank - Eugina (Michael Woods Remix)
06- Cass & Slide - Perception (New Vocal Mix)
07- Mekka - Diamondback
08- BT- Dreaming (Lucid's 12" Mix)
09- Baracao - Délirio (Venus Mix)
10- Fortress - An Angel Saved My Life (Mark Shimmon & 3rd Degree Bern's Mix)
11- Ballroom - 4AM (Marc O'Tool Remix)
12- Coast 2 Coast feat. Discovery - Home
13- Breeder - Tyrantanic (Slacker's Kingdom Come Mix)
14- Max Graham - Airtight

Yummy.

I'll go for ISOS2.

Thanks!

The end of Genesis (Jimbos Afterburner Mix)/ opening of Helsinki Scorchin from ISOS5 is simply incredible. I love it!

Hate to be the only negative post in this thread but i really wasn't that impressed by ISOS5, a couple of good tracks sure but 1-3 are better and possibly even 4 as well.

Check out the compilation by Tiesto's protégé Phynn; In trance we trust volume 11. One of my favourite CDs this year :)

I've had a listen to ISOS1 and I don't like it. It just seems like banal Ibiza trance to me, where as ISOS5 has a different feel. I can just vision myself driving around Los Angeles with that blasting, which I think is what Tiesto was aiming for.

Tiesto, meh.

ISOS2 is as far as I went with him.

Unfortunately he was always as mediocre a DJ as a producer -- he just marketed himself properly. He soon forgot us lot in Sheffield who put him on the map - then he sold out, big time.

For me, none of the older ISOS compliations have anything on ISOS5. There is just something about it I really like. Can anyone reccomend anything specifically like ISOS5?

I'm sure it wasnt just 'crasher that contributed his success.

Of course it wasn't.

However it gave him more of a global presence - it was all marketing and hype.

Still doesn't change the fact he always lacked technical ability and was very predictable as a producer.
