So im sure my motherboard is wrecked/finished. I have to flash cmos in order to get it to work. So i thought get a new motherboard £95.....:

But then i thought I am spending money on old material why not get a new i7 930, 6 GB of 1600 MHz ram and a motherboard to go with it. £450 approximately

then i thought im fed up with my desktop giving me agro so why not get a gaming laptop although for the cost of it the performance isnt great compared to my current p.c £920

My current speck is a q6600, 4gb of 800mhz ram and abit ip35 pro motherboard. When it was over clocked it was pretty kick ass at 3.6ghz but because of the motherboard I can no longer do so. What is your advice? I am very angry and don't want to rush a wrong decision
 
I'd recommend a second hand board aswell, with the MM being an ideal place to get a bargain.

If you can't see MM email a mod or something and they'll give you access.
