What is it with ati warranties, far as im aware in the us the xfx warranty is around 5 years+, the vtx 5970 only has a warranty for a year. Half a grand and a years warranty. :eek:
 
Lets be fair, most of you lot will be sticking water blocks on them shortly anyway so warranty is not relevant ;).
 
excuse my ignorance, but what do you get in noticable difference, between spending £ 500 or £ 350 ?

Cope with higher resolutions better. Currently I doubt you will really benefit from one of these cards unless you game at over 1920x1200.

There just isn't anything to realistically push these cards at the moment disregarding Crysis.
 
A monkey for a gpu never worth :eek:.Not while a card 1/5 the price can play all games at the mo fine.Waiting to see if Trubritar on youtube gets these in to bench

Its exactly the same I am afraid. Shocking. However I am just sorting out our stock arriving next week and there actual signs of some decent levels of stock comming through.
 
Fatboy Is there light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to 58/59** stock levels?

Or are we talking February before things become normal? :(
