What is it with ati warranties, far as im aware in the us the xfx warranty is around 5 years+, the vtx 5970 only has a warranty for a year. Half a grand and a years warranty. :eek:
 
looks like its still better just to get 2x 5850's or 2x 5870's if you can afford it

plus they arent as long as that beast so should fit in more cases
 
Say you wanted a 4 card crossfire setup, how would you even power them? I read they use 300w on full load?

Wouldn't you need 2 PSUs or something? Especially if you're watercooling them?

Also is it possible to overclock these at all? With 3200 cores, I'm guessing even a 1mhz increase would make a big difference. :P
 
Even if I won a £45 million jackpot lottery, I think I would feel guilty on spending £500 on a gpu.

But, unless I win a £45 million jackpot I will never know. :(
 
If I won that, I'd build the fastest most silent intercooled water cooled monster ever concieved. :D

It'd need dual CPUs though, definately....
