So another what monitor to get thread.
So I have a 27" Viewsonic monitor (10+ years old now) that I think is coming to end of life (with lots of media on the screen or fast paced action it looks like the monitor is trying to refresh the screen at like 1fps (noticed it when I had my xbox connected to it but seems to be happening with the PC as well now
).
So as much as I would love to get a 4K screen with all the bells and whistles I'm holding off until HDR is sorted and monitors with this support come into a more affordable price range.
So having seen this monitor

on offer I thought this would be a good step up to maybe 1440p gaming (currently have a GTX1060) but also be a great upgrade for the office xbox now that 1440p is supported.
So just wondering if people have any opinions on this monitor or if there should be an alternative I should be looking at?
Although I don't have an upper budget for monitors I don't want to pay stupid money for one.
