As the title says, i'm in the market for a monitor upgrade and i'm hoping you kind folk will help!

Specs desired are as follows:
  • Freesync Capable
  • 27+"
  • 144hz
  • 2560x1440 (or higher)
  • Preferably <£400 but willing to go higher if the performance deserves it

It might be a tough ask given the price, but like I said, i can go higher if the reviews are favourable.

I'll be linking it to a Fury X so ports shouldn't be a problem.

I really like the look of an AOC C3583FQ, the price is a little higher, but is it worth the asking price? It seems awfully cheap for a monitor of this size and res.

Edit: The Dell U2715H is a backup choice given a 60hz refresh and no freesync.

I plumped for the Asus in the end, and it's beautiful!!!

Was a bit pricier than the AOC, but the reviews seem generally more favourable. We'll see how I get along now that I need a bigger desk!

EDIT: With Freesync enabled, the desktop and any programmes seems a little 'sharp' and harsh compared to when it's off. Anyone know of a way to disable this, except for just disabling freesync completely?
