Hardware failed in past year

In the past year, how much hardware have you had fail, if any?

I'll go first:

- 1 Stick of OCZ Platinum PC6400
- Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
- Gigabyte P35-DS3
- Samsung DVD+RW SATA Optical Drive

All my other PC's apart from this one have lasted years without a hitch in hardware trouble, since i got this PC 2 years ago, i've had nothing but trouble with random PC components dying on me.

Same applies to my mates.. Just wondering how many more people have had issues in the past year, it might just be me.. or maybe they just don't make stuff as good as they used to.

Anyway iv had:
An8-sli and dfi rdx 200 lost both south bridges
pc chips socket A board (doesnt post for no reason)
Opty 148 (missing pins....)
annnd my laptop (i think the graphics chips is borked)

I say its all about brands and the components used (and if you got it off the bay,...) as most of my stuff thats died is poor bands (pc chips and Acer for my laptop) with the rest dieing from human error (me being a fool....)

Nothing other than that, been pretty lucky touch wood.
