In vehicle cctv solution?

I've been asked by a friend who's looking to start driving taxis, what the best system is for his personal security when picking up customers etc. He drives a Peugeot 5008 and while dashcam functionality would be good he's more concerned about in car coverage, ideally with audio. Is there a great system you guys recommend or would something like a go pro with dashboard mount work better?

I haven't got a dashcam but looking for when we get our new van. The Vantrue N4 and N5 on Amazon have cabin cameras. I expect there are a few other 3 and 4 channel options available from other manufacturers too. Might be worth checking out.

If he's going to work for a firm (maybe even under an authority like TfL) he may be mandated to use their equipment. I.e. has a camera but no access to the footage
