Hi all

I am looking at getting a case for a mini amd kabini setup and wanted a small form factor case that does not take up much room. I have been looking at the in win cases, something like

or

The reason i was looking at In-Win is that they come with power supplies included. But my main issue is that are these power supplies reliable? or would it be better for me to get a case that can take a full size PSU.

The kabini max power draw is 25w and the smallest full size psu i can find is 350w and that seems excessive als SFX or SFF psu are so expensive, £60-£70 fo a bronze rate psu. I need something reliable that wont go boom.

so any advice would be appreciated.

thanks for the the advice everyone

Is the Antec ISK 11 PSU any good? The only issue i have with this is that its so expensive, £66, for this price i can get separate full size psu and small case. Unfortunately OCUK has no stock otherwise i would have bought it.

just a quick question, is SFX psu same as Micro-ATX psu? Because rather than buy in win with questionable psu. Becuase i might order this Aerocool Qs-102 Micro-ATX Case - Black but it says PSU tye it takes is Micro-ATX psu. I am assuming this is SFX type would fit??

also forgot to ask, what does SFF psu mean? If i bought a In Win case could i change the PSU? from their desription it says SFF, not sure what that means as i cant find any PSU with that suffix.

Thanks Hatman for the pictures, much appreciated :)

Are the power supplies reliable in these cases?

amd i correct the power supply in the case you posted only has 1 sata port? I was actually going to buy that specific case you posted but was worried with the quality of the PSU in there, just wondering would it be possible to replace it with a SFX type psu?

also you have fitted a DVD drive in there, i am assuming you can only fit slim slot loading cd drives in there and not slim tray type, correct?

I have found a review of the power supply in the IN WIN BM39, or to be more specific In Win IP-AD160-2 and it seems to be a good performing Power supply but nothing for that case you have posted.

thanks for the help and feedback everyone.

Thanks Guys for all the help so just a little update.

I bought a In Win cas with 160w psu and i think its faulty, must be my luck but the case is really nicely made. Only thing i did not like was the mounting holes for the motherboard and the front IO panel cables are presented together in one connector which means as in my motherboard the connectors for audio/mic and USB are on separate pins arrangements you cant plug them in, Hope i explained myself correctly :)

@HatMan

I was wondering would that case have enough clearance to run a standard cpu fan that is supplied with something like i3 or i5 Hanswell processors?

or even better what fan are you using?

thanks
