in32 bulb replacement!

My sagem TV is rear proj dlp & the bulb in a cradle is about £400....if you can get it in stock anywhere.

I went onto the bay & got a new bulb with no cradle for £100 & put it into my existing cradle, 5 minute job saved me £300ish.

Don't know if projectors are the same but maybe worth a look into it.
 
Just googled the price of those bulbs, best I got was about £250......then £320.

Pretty shocking for something that probably costs pennies to make.
 
Well there's obviously markup on them but discharge lamps aren't trivial things to make, they're the most important part of the projector and are priced accordingly.
