Inaccesible boot device

I have a MS Surface book and yesterday it crashed while browsing the web.

It then froze for a few mins and rebooted itself with 'Inaccessible boot device' blue screen error

I tried a recovery and that didn't work, I then tried a new W10 INSTALL, but it can't see the SSD drive (Samsung branded, if that helps) to install it on.

Any ideas on what I should do next? Is the drive dead?

Can you see the drive in the BIOS?

I can only get into the UEFI (vol up+power button), and there's no info of the drive there.
