incoming call issue

Hi i have a nokia 6300 and an orange contract sim.

When someone calls me, wether they are on the contact list or a complete stranger, it just comes up a "Call" on my mobile phone. I just rang myself off the home phone and exactly that came up.

It should come up with a number or a name if the number is stored in my phone.

As a result i never know who is calling me. If i check afterwards it says "Unknown number" so i dont know who has called me if i miss a call.

Any ideas ? I dont even know what to search for in google!?

Everything on the internet seems to point to you needing to phone Orange and ask either for them to enable CLI or send you a new SIM.

2 possible fixes:
Double entries in address book (on phone and sim) - if so delete one (id suggest sim).
Phone up orange on 150 - network problem (phone IEMI not registered or something)

The right thing to google is "no caller ID shown 6300"
