Incompatible MoBo software

Bought an ASUS p8 z68v gen 3 mobo, installed windows 8, tried to run the dvd which came with the MoBo but is incompatible with my OS. Is there anything i can do to get software on dvd to work on windows 8?

I doubt it at the minute especially since Windows 8 is not officially released its only the
consumer preview thing.

I would advise definitely using Windows7 till it has come out properly

Windows 7 drivers are supposed to compatible, apparently other than the windows 8 UI, the base code is still 99% windows 7.

AMD already has a Catalyst preview driver out. http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/15854

have you tried opening up the drivers folders on the cd and installing them from there? it might just be the autorun that isn't detecting a known OS but the drivers will install fine if run manually.

Was a bit early for me, forgot to mention autorun issue.
