Wondering if someone could help.
My PC is very inconsistent when booting up, sometimes it will boot, sometimes nothing happens. I always get power, all fans, hdds, and lights come on. When my machine boots up i get a loud single beep, when the machine decides not to boot up I get no beeps.
I have swapped out and tried different, Ram and gfx card but no joy, still the inconsistancy.
Once the pc boots up, it will be fine, the problem occurs when shutting down and then trying to boot backup again, I have a intermittent component but cant place my finger on it.
I have disconnected dvd drive, ext fans, hdd's, and sound card in an elimination process yet the problem still occurs.
My best guess is mobo or cpu.
Any ideas?
