Increase performance of GPU via firmware update

well after following that thread i have updated. TBH i needed to do it anyway as it would just be my luck to sell the card in a few weeks if i get an 1180 and the buyer complain due to problems with display ports and VR.
going on the thread above it seems there are definite improvements for vr, at least in some titles so maybe NV fixed another bug on the side which they did not advertise. DCS takes so long to load that i gave up trying to get fps before (I could not get ASW to disable which would have made it meaningless as i get a steady 45fps anyway) and just applied the update.

There does not seem to be much change in flat screen games so maybe something to do with how the card displays VR??
