Hi,
I have a weird situation with my graphics card, I have a Gigibyte 1070, so far been happy with the performance but thought on some games the fps should have been better but what the hell I just left it at that but earlier today I accidently hit the standby key on my keyboard and my desktop entered standby mode while playing NMS (I know haha, it seems I'm one of the few who enjoys the game), after coming out of standby mode the fan on my graphics card was going like crazy and I went from 60 fps to a constant 120, I then went and loaded a couple more games and what you know all have massive fps increases, what the hell is that all about? Seems like some power management issue to me but I can't imagine what, now I'm thinking I'm missing out on this graphics card potential and that something is setup wrong. I'm running Windows 10.
Anyone else heard of anything like this?
Cheers
