I've always gone back to the 457 drivers as not only do they perform better than the later drivers, they are also not black listed when using "Nvidia Control Panel" Sharpen when playing Warzone. You have to use Geforce Experience in later drivers as there's apparently graphics corruption which I've never noticed. But anyway it seems as if lower performance, higher latency is being reported in the drivers due to a Nvidia Control Panel colour bug when using default color settings or even nvidia 8bit

Windows generic VGA - 130
Nvidia 457.51 - 570
Nvidia 466.47 - 1500+
Nvidia DCH 470.14 - 1570
It looks like if I use nvidia color settings AND 10bit nvlddmkm only spikes up to 600.
Use system default color settings or even nvidia 8bit and goes up to 1500.
I confirm that it is a driver problem, putting the YCBR442 audio format at 10bpc the slowness is excellent, but putting 8 bpc rgb etc. high slowness. can anyone open a post in the nvidia forum?
I had some stuttering in games in the past couple of drivers. I changed the output from default 8 bpc/Full to 10 bpc/Full in Nvidia Control panel, and the stutters are gone. There is definitely something fishy going on with 8 bpc in these 466 drivers that for whatever reason hampers performance.
