Hey all,

I have recently bought the Logitech G510 keyboard and the G-keys have been a godsend in many games :D What I want to know is, is there any way I can add a macro to a G-key to increase the CPU fan speed by 5% or 10% increments?

Is there any piece of software available to do this?

Cheers :)

You can have a macro key launch a shortcut to a batch file or script file that your CPU speed monitoring/adjusting program.

For example I use my G keys to launch an Ultramon script that switches my display from monitor to HDTV and sets stuff like resolution and refresh rate.

What you can do is limited by the program you use to change the speed and whether it can be used this sort if way.

I don't think the G keys themselves can send such hardware instructions.

Oh well :p I guess I have to do it the old way :)

And to answer the the other questions, I am very much liking the keyboard atm! Even though it isn't a mechanical one, it is very nice to type on :) Also, my favourite feature is the backlit keys, Very nice and I have them set to pink ;)

That's pretty damn clever. Impressed!
