Increasing MPG with a remap

Any MPG is countered with a slightly heavier foot and hooning it everywhere with your new power surely?

The Cliosports MPG improves slightly with a remap, certainly does from the remaps done by K-Tec, not sure about the RSTuner ones.

I've recently got a motorsport map on my DS3 (210bhp with Pipercross cone) which apart from upping the power (+54bhp +52lb/ft) apparently increases the MPG, I haven't seen any improvement yet since Saturday, if I could only get my concrete right shoe off
