Hello everyone! I'm just wondering what's safe with regards to increasing voltage for DDR4..?
I've got 32GB of HyperX Fury Black 2133MHz DDR4 and whilst overclocking my CPU I've managed to get 4.6GHz stable at 3.25V, and whilst doing that I upped my RAM profile from a list in my BIOS taking one step at a time above 2133MHz and stopped at 2400MHz, that was the highest it could go without my PC failing to boot or getting the BSOD.
I've had a look at the same RAM on here and it says the voltage is 1.2-1.5V, so would I be safe increasing the RAM voltage from the 1.2V it is now in increments all the way to 1.5V or will I be better off keeping myself to a limit somewhere in between, say 1.3V at the most..?
I've got an In Win GR One case and have added a load of fans to it, I have 8 altogether I think and my CPU cooler is a Hyper 212 Pro Evo so I've got plenty of air flow and cooling. My CPU is 28-31C idle and 70-74C when I stress test.
Thanks in advance for any help!
