Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply Atom80, one more question from my mate, he has asked about future uprageabilty in terms of GPU. Apparently his last laptop had the GPU soldered to the mobo? So after 2-3 years it was pretty much redundant. Can you upgrade GPU / RAM / storage etc on these laptops?

AORUS run their own upgrade service, just send in to them and they will upgrade it for you. Keeps the same main board and changes the other components

That's fantastic considering how long CPU's tend to last nowadays!! This could last him 6/7 years with a GPU upgrade after 3/4
