Hi, anyone know of an independent way of running aRGB leds without needing to use software or a phone app?

Looking to hopefully find an independent aRGB controller to set the 0-255 aRGB values for 5 led strips (ek pump res led strip, gpu block led strip, cpu block led strip, long ~150 led strip, ~80 led strip. Nothing fancy, just want to have them synched to the same aRGB values for all, but set manually and forget if possible. Is there an aRGB controller that can do this that anyone's aware of?

The simple Corsair one does this for 6 outputs, albeit I don't think it works with all ARGB because it includes the data return lines. I'll grab a product page shortly...

Ok the product page includes a selling option so you'll have to look it up -

"CORSAIR HD RGB Fan LED Controller" is the actual LED controller. Has breathing modes etc and a speed control and colour control. Only a few colours it cycles through though I suppose.

Edit: on rereading your ask and seeing 0-255 values, I suspect you might find someone has done a decent implementation on an Arduino or similar.

Why not software? The completely free Open RGB will do all that you want. I use it for my motherboard, cpu cooler fans, GPU and case fans so that they are all synced. Everything is plugged into the ARGB headers on my motherboard (apart from the GPU) and Open RGB does the rest. The best bit is that it was a one off setup and I haven't had to touch it since.

Ah thanks that looks okay - have been using Asus aura and it just seems bloated and a resource hog for what it does.

Yup im using Open RGB too, its brilliant, 0.9 along with with effects plugin, I did try signal RGB but found it a bit too confusing to navigate, Open RGB is controlling all of my devices, bit of a PITA to get it to run at system startup, ended up having to set a scheduled task at user log on, if you need help with this i'll send the task.

MSI's version is the same then I needed Gigabytes garbage one for the GPU as well and in the end I got fed up with having so many different bits of software just to control lighting I uninstalled them and got rid of all traces of them after reading someones exprerience of Open RGB on here. It's a great piece of software and the bonus is it's free and lightweight.

Strange, I didn't have that problem, it just works. I downloaded it, fired it up and selected all the things I wanted it to control (3x 120mm CPU cooler fans, 4x 200mm case fans, GPU lighting and motherboard lighting), set the colour and that's it, I haven't touched it since and every time I hit the power button my case lights up with a nice static red light.

You got lucky lol, it was a nightmare trying to figure it all out, I had to set everything up how I wanted it in the software, then save it as a profile, I just labelled the profile "Mine.orp", and then create a scheduled task and figure out all the arguments for it, servers, server ports, start minimized, start my profile etc etc.

According to performance monitor it isn't even running on my pc right now (can't see anything obviously Open RGB related anyway) yet my lights are running as I selected them to.

Nothing for me in task manager either  but all colours are as ive set, if I shut down completely, my RGB settings dont take effect until im in windows on the next cold boot, if I just reboot, it maintains the colours throughout.
