Hi all,

I have an InDesign document that I can export from InDesign as an swf that has page turn animation and buttons prebuilt. It's fast and easy but not quite what I want. My Flash knowledge is minimal but what I want is for that swf to be zoomable within the confines of its output size. Is there an easy way to input the Indesign swf into Flash and make it zoomable as the text from my document is too small within the confines of my output area. It also has to be relatively easy to do so a Flash noob could do it unless anyone knows of another method that would achieve the same result? The swf sits in a pretty standard html/css website.

Many thanks for looking, even bigger thanks for any suggestions.

You definitely need it to export to swf and sit in a webpage? Just it sounds like PDF would suit the function much better.

Not specifically although PDF just seemed a bit of a boring option. I liked the options the export gave me as it looked and felt as if you had the actual brochure in front of you. I also liked the way it just sat happily in the website with all the menus available to the user that I would not get if I just linked to the PDF. The only downside was the space limitation that I thought I could overcome with a zoom feature. That's where my imagination overtook my current limited skills in this area!

Hmm, I've seen plenty of fancy magazine style PDFs.

But I understand you will lose the site context and menus.

I can't help you with the Flash zoom function though. I don't see why there wouldnt be scripts out there, but their implementation will be more difficult.
