Index with 1.0 base station

The Index kit is sold out but the head set and controler option is still there, the 1.0 base stations are about 120 for 2 on fleebay, which actually works out a few quid cheaper...sound ok to you?

They will work fine with the Index and controllers.

I've only got the controllers but having no problems at all with v1.0 HTC lighthouses, tracking is spot on.

I'm still mulling over getting the headset also, but I don't think I'll bother in the slightest with v2.0 tracking for my VR play space.

For what it's worth, I'm using sync cable between my two stations due to the light fitting interfering with optical.
