Indian spices online

I've recently bought an Indian spice box and was wondering if anyone could recommend any online spice sellers that sell in "sensible" quantities? (i.e. not huge bags that i'll never use!)

I'd rather get fresh spices as opposed to jars from the supermarket (for a change!)

I would also be interested. Some fresh spices but in small quantities. Mine always go stale as I just do not use them in time.

I get mine from Rafi's Spice Box based in in York, their curry mixes are convenient, and very tasty, but I also buy the individual spices from them too. Never had issues with them, though it ends up being cheaper to buy a good amount, as the delivery charge covers the first 30Kg...

someone on here recommended tinytakeaway some time ago, i've since used them many times, really good , the mixes arrive in little paper bags

I tend to buy mine in the bigger bags from the local Asian place and make them last longer by buying the whole spices; the whole ones last for a long time.
I have some small containers in which I will, every 6-8 weeks, grind a smallish amount of the ones I tend to use frequently (the more unusual I will just grind on demand).
The other thing I do is pre mix / grind spices mixtures for specific go to recipes (maybe 4-6 'cookings' worth and mark the jar with the weight per portion) ; this way it makes it faster to cook, especially during the week, and it means I am more likely to use them and the recipes.
I find this way I have a wide selection of fresh spices always at hand and use them when fresh; before using this I was always throwing out old spices.
