There isn't an Indycar thread this year by the looks of things so might as well create a thread for the big race!

Just about to get underway on ESPN. Well once all the military gumpf has been gotten through anyway

Hopefully it's a great race and the modifications that have been made to the cars prevent any further flying lessons.

I'd forgotten how bad ESPN/US tv was. Sooooo many adverts.

Has there been any racing yet or just solid adverts with an occasional break for the race?

The amount of ad breaks is crazy, doesn't help that BT just take every ad break that the US does but because there are rules on how many actual proper ads you can show in an hour over here you end up with endless repeated ads for BT Sports / ESPN programs.

Yea the amount of adverts is terrible... I remember not all that long ago they had their own studio they'd go back to so it was only every other ad break that was actual adverts guess they've stopped that... Or was that when it was on another channel, can't remember

TK could only get good turn in on T3, added more front wing n then where does he oversteer and crash? T3. Fancy that.

Shame he's never fancied a crack at Le Mans, probably the only guy in the modern era who will ever have a shot of the triple crown.

It'd be great to see someone go for that but I'm not sure anyone will... Like you say JPM is probably the bed bet... Maybe if Webber gets a Le Mans win and fancies another crack at single seaters, but I don't see it

The build up to this race is incredible, they even went (live?) to the ISS at one point!

Americans are hilarious and entertaining in equal measures.
