Hello good knowledgable people, the indicators on my 1996 P reg vectra have ceased to work properly and no longer flash! They come on but stay on.
I've briefly researched and it's been suggested that the blinker relay is at fault. Where would one find this?

Thanks

Normally the blinker relay is a one inch diameter light blue plactic cylinder in the fuse panel. On some newer cars it is in the under-bonnet fuse panel. I'll try and get you a picture of it.

I had this on a car I brought. My mechanic solved it in like 5 minutes. Make sure all the contacts are rust free and the chassis forms a good ground for the circuit the lights use.
All the other lights worked for me but for some reason a bit of rub off rust was all it took to disable all the indicators

That page has a couple good pics showing where it'll be.

That page shows you what they'll look like. Yes, that page is for motorcycles, but cars use much the same looking things.

If it's not in the in-car fuse panel, then it'll be in your under-bonnet one. But that's highly unlikely as most cars use the relay as an audible alert that your blinkers are on. The relay contacts actually make the "click-click-click" that you hear.
